The Cluster module allows you to create child processes (workers) that share the same server port.

Node.js runs on a single thread. To utilize multi-core systems, the Cluster module forks the main process. The master process manages the workers and distributes incoming connections using a round-robin approach (on most platforms). This is a vital strategy for production-grade Node.js applications to maximize CPU throughput.
